Mr. Monroe was born in Grand Rapdis and was married in St. Johns in . He is survived by his widow, a son Robert, a stepdaughter, Pearl, a brother Jess, of Eagle, and a sister Elizabeth Cowling of Cadillac. A stepson, Andrew Tinker, was killed in the World war. The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Palo Methodist Epsicopal church. Rev. Rood will be in charge of the services. Burial will take place in Palo.
