PROMINENT FARMER DIES AT ANN ARBOR

A good many readers of this paper knew, or knew of, Lou Monroe, a farmer of near 
Portland, He and his wife, Mrs.Carrie Ramsey Monroe were prominent members of 
the Grange and Farm Bureau, both being active and energetic.

Mr.Monroe died suddenly Sunday afternoon at Ann Arbor where he had gone the day 
before for treatment.

He leaves besides his wife, a daughter, Mrs.Ernest Burhans of Philadelphia.
