Amy L. Montero Alvarez, 35, of Sheridan, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at Spectrum
Health Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids.  She was born Dec. 12, 1970, in Ionia,
the daughter of Chancey R. and Kay Amy Lyn Robinson Hopkins.  She married Raul
Montero Alvarez.  Amy was a recent resident of the Sheridan area but spent most
of her life in the Palo area.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Hopkins.  She is survived by her
husband, Raul Montero Alvarez; son, Michael Dylan Jenkins; father, Chancey
“Dick” Hopkins of Fenwick; sister, Joyce and Carl Hoag of Belding; three
brothers, Rocky and Darlene Hopkins of Belding, Danny and Vickie Hopkins of
Crystal, Eric Hopkins of Palo; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or memorial services.  Cremation has already taken
place.  For those desiring to do so, memorial considerations may be made
directly to the family.  Arrangements are by Simpson Family Funeral Home,
Sheridan.
