Carson City Gazette, 30 Jan 1936

Mrs. Robert Montgomery, 83, one of the pioneer residents of North Plains township,
Ionia county, died in Carson City.  Funeral at St. Mary’s church, Carson City,
Thursday.  Her husband, Robert Montgomery, who died in 1916, was a one-time register
of deeds in Montcalm county.
