The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 15, 1930

George Montgomery, 74, living northeast of Ionia, died at his home Saturday 
evening after a long illness.  Mr. Montgomery was born in Ohio, but had lived 
for 54 years in this vicinity.

Mrs. Montgomery died in November, 1927.  Surviving him are the following 
children:  Ralph Montgomery, Mrs. Leon Tomlinson, Mrs. O. J. Randall, Mrs. 
Marvin Davis, Mrs. Charles Ogden, Mrs. Henry Ogden, Ionia; Mrs. Henry Speckin, 
Mrs. Elmer Wiles, Belding; and Charles, Bud and George at home, and 12 
grandchildren.

The funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, 1:30 at the house 
and at the Easton community church at 3:30.  Interment will be made in the 
Easton cemetery.
