Funeral services for Dr. Theodore E. Montgomery, 75, will be Friday at 3 p.m. at
Patience-Montgomery funeral home at 406 First, Jackson.  Interment will be at
Woodland cemetery at Jackson.  Dr. Montgomery of 539 North Blackstone, Jackson,
died Friday morning in a Jackson hospital.  He was a former Ionia resident.

He was a practicing veterinarian 56 years, being employed at Michigan
Reformatory until moving to Jackson in 1936 where he entered private practice. 
A member of the St. Johns Episcopal church of Ionia, he also was a member and
past exalted ruler of Ionia Elks.

Besides his wife Elizabeth he leaves a son Edward and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth
Fisher and four grandchildren all of Jackson.
