E.IOLENE MONTGOMERY
E. Iolene Montgomery, age 85 of Ionia, Passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at 
Spectrum Health Center in Grand Rapids with her family by her side. Iolene was 
born on Dec. 22, 1924 the daughter of Ivan and Grace (Seabolt) Smith. She worked 
at Chrysler and Mitchell Bently for many years. Iolene enjoyed camping with her 
family, spending time with her grandchildren, country music, and going to Lake 
Michigan. She was a wonderful mother and a very hard worker.

Surviving are her children, Bonnie (Roger) Hull, Lillian Hagstrom, Ginger 
Mathis, Betty Jane Conley, and Jim Montgomery; nine grandchildren, several 
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and brother John Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Montgomery; son, 
George Montgomery Jr.; daughter, Brenda Montgomery brothers; Howard, Eddy, 
George, Donny, Arnold, Erving, Bill and Stanley Smith; sisters, Delores and 
Betty Lou.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Conrad Campbell at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich 
St.,Ionia. Interment will follow at Easton Township Cemetery.
