The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 25, 1942

Funeral services for Mrs. Samuel Mook, 80, who died Monday, March 18, at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. John B. Chase, were conducted Thursday from the 
home at 2 p.m.  Rev. Kenneth E. Romig of Stanton officiated at the service and 
interment was at North Plains cemetery.

Bearers were Burdette Brigham, Clive Charles, Roy Hargraves, Storrs Huss, 
Merbert Greenhoe and Herbert Eckley, all of whom were former Sunday school 
pupils of Mrs. Mook.

Those attending the service from away were her son, Donald, of Hartsdale, New 
York, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Fea of Blanchard, Miss Betty Chase of Grand Rapids, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Chase, Mrs. James Gallagher and Mrs. Frank Sharp, all of 
Ionia.
