Word of the death of Maurice S. Mook, of Coty, Wyoming, has been received here from
John B. Chase, of Spring Grove, Virginia, a brother-in-law of Mr. Mook.

Mr. Mook was the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Mook, long-time residents of North
Plains.  When he was 19 years of age he left for the west and has lived there the
intervening years.  He was born July 30, 1880, and his death occurred December 21,
after a short illness resulting in pneumonia.  Surviving him are his widow, Mrs.
Josie Mook, of Cody; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Mook, of Spring Grove, Virginia;
one sister, Mrs. John B. Chase, of Ionia, and one brother, Donald E. Mook, of
Syracuse, N.Y..  Thomas E. Jackson, of Muir, now in Orlando, Florida, is a
relative.
