Ann street. She was 91 years and 6 months of age and has been living alone for several years. The neighbors, by whom she was well known and highly respected, were very kind and appreciative of her old age and of course kept in close touch with her and her wants were never lacking so far as they were concerned. She was apparently as well as usual and had eaten her breakfast. She was discovered about 8:30 o’clock in a sitting posture relining in a rocking chair. It is reported that heart trouble was the cause of her death. Mrs. Moon was one of the old pioneers left of sixteen families moving here from New York when she was nine years old and settling in Otisco township where she lived on the farm until moving to Belding 22 years ago. The husband, Frank A. Moon, passed away about 37 years ago. She leaves to mourn their loss 2 nieces, Clara Demorest and Mrs. May Little, also 2 nephews, Allen T. Demorest, of San Antonio, Texas and A.W. Demorest, of Lansing. Mrs. Moon was a charter member of the Church of Christ and has always remained faithful. Funeral services will be held at the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. H.E. Curch officiating. Interment at the Otisco cemetery.
