The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, November 20, 1908

The Russell family received word last week of the serious illness of Mrs. A. 
M. Moon, a sister of the late Gilbert Russell, of this place.  Mrs. Moon died 
at the home of her son, Judson Loomis, near Hobart, Wexford county, and the 
remains were brought to Belding Friday and taken to the old Russell homestead, 
now the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Filkins, where funeral services were held 
Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14, Mrs. Dunham, of Ionia, officiating, and she was 
laid at rest by the side of her husband in Otisco cemetery. Mrs. Moon was 
eighty-one years old.  She was a sister of Mrs. M. A. Filkins and Mrs. Loren 
Fales, of Belding.
