The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, May 19, 1976

Services for George D. Moon, Sr., who died Saturday were Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
with Rev. Dr. Lloyd G. Walker of the LeValley United Methodist church 
officiating.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Perry Gregory, Gerald Benjamin, Dave Andres, Wilbur Moon, Stephen 
Kenter, and Vernon Heppe.  Members of the WWI veteran’s organization attended 
the services.

Following the graveside services, lunch was prepared and served to family and 
friends at the Berlin Center United Methodist church.
