The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 17, 1953

Walter Moon, 59, died Monday, March 16, at 11 a.m. in Berlin township.  He had 
been a resident of that township all his life.

He was born April 21, 1893, in Berlin township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Chauncey Moon.  He attended Coon school.

Surviving are two sisters, Nina and Lula Moon, of Ionia; and three brothers, 
Charles, Wilbur and George Moon of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stone-Kauffman funeral 
home.  Burial will be in the family lot, Balcom cemetery.
