The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 22, 1928


Chancey Moon, 71, of South Ionia, died at his home Sunday afternoon at 3:30.  
The funeral services will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  The burial will be in the Balcom cemetery.  Mr. Moon was a native of 
Pennsylvania but has lived the most of his life in Michigan.  He leaves the 
widow and eight children.  The children are Charles, Wilbur, Irwin, George, and 
Walter Moon, Miss Nina Moon, Miss Lulu Moon, and Mrs. H. J. Robertson, all of 
Ionia.
