Mr.John Mills of this place, was with him, but observing a better shelter a few rods off, started for it, calling to Moon to follow. He had scarcely reached the desired shelter when he received a terrible shock from lightening, and looking around he saw Moon fall. He immediately called for help, and Moon was taken to the house. Upon examination the doctors decided that he was instantly killed by lightening. He was taken home and was buried on Saturday. He leaves a wife and four little children.
