Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 10, 1981

                                MICHAEL JOSEPH MOON

IONIA-Michael Joseph moon, 17, of 519 Union St.,Ionia, died Tuesday evening of 
accidental injuries.

He was born October 29, 1963, in Ionia, the son of Richard and Donna M.(Bernier) 
Moon. He attended Ionia High School.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Bernier, his grandmother, Noreen Bernier of 
Ionia, his great-grandmother, Nona Horgan, of Traverse City, two aunts, Nola Ake 
and Shiela Bernier, four uncles, Joseph Bernier of Springfield, Michigan, 
Michael Bernier of Detroit, Andre Bernier of Florida and Pierre Bernier of 
Ionia.

Funeral Mass will e recited Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the SS.Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in Mt.Olivet Cemetery. A rosary will be recited Thursday 
at 7:00 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the fuenral home Thrusday 2:00 
to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
