MOON, MARGARET M. (HEPPE) (MRS. GEORGE DEWITT, SR.):
   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, MI, 10-20-1993:  "Obituaries - IONIA - Margaret M.
Moon, 90, of Orange Township, Ionia, died Monday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
   She was born December 21, 1902, in Cullum, Ill., the daughter of John and
Anna Katherine Dock Heppe and lived in Illinois until moving to Orleans Township
in 1920.
   She was married to George Moon Sr. on June 25, 1929, and they moved to Orange
Township.  He preceded her in death on May 15, 1976.
   She had worked at Ypsilanti-Reed Co. and was a member of Berlin United
Methodist Church.
   She is survived by two daughters, Geneva and Agnes Moon of Ionia; one son,
George Moon Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; one granddaughter; two grandsons; and several
nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth, and four brothers, Conrad,
Phillip, George, and Henry Heppe.
   Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday at Cook FUneral Home, Ionia, with
the Rev. David Flagel officiating.  Organist will be Barbara Spencer.
   Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.
   The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
   A memorial has been established for the Berlin United Methodist Church, in
care of the funeral home."
