MOON, NINA AMELIA:
   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, MI, July 13, 1996:  "Obituaries - IONIA - Nina A.
Moon, 99, of Berlin Township died Friday, July 12, 1996 at Heartland Health Care
Center in Ionia.     She was born June 13, 1897, the daughter of Chancey and
Anna (Simmons) Moon in Berlin Township, where she lived her entire life.  She
attended Coon School and went to work in 1923 at Ypsilanti-Reed Factory, later
Michell Bentley, then A. O. Smith from where she retired after 42 years.  She
worked in the upholstery department, the curtain department and on war material.
 She later worked on car material.  She was the last survivor of 11 children.
   She is survived by several nieces and nephews:  Wilbur Moon and family, Rose
Moon and family, Geneva and Agnes Moon, and Celia Moon, all of Ionia, Gladys
Walker and family of Belding, George Moon, Jr., of Omaha, Neb. and Allen
Robertson of Hawaii.
   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.
 Rev. David Flagel of Berlin Center Church will be officiating and interment
will be in Balcom Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at
the Rich St. Chapel.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.  Envelopes are
available at the funeral home."
