The Ionia Sentinel, Wednesday, June 30, 1915
Dan Moon died at his home north of Ionia Tuesday night at 9:30 as a result of 
injuries received a few days previously in a fall from a load of hay in 
Ionia.  In his fall he struck on a stick and suffered internal injuries which 
resulted in his death.  Deceased was 79 years of age and an old resident of 
Ionia county.  He leaves one son, Bert.  Funeral from the residence at 10 a.m. 
Friday.  Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
