Agnes Mavie Moon, 81, of Ionia, passed away on June 8, 2015, at Heartland Health
Care Center in Ionia.  She was born on Jan. 28, 1934, to George and Margaret (Heppe)
Moon Sr. at their home on Peck Lake Road in Ionia.  Agnes attended Coon Grade School
and graduated from Ionia High School in 1953.  She worked as a nurse’s aide at Ionia
Hospital and a caregiver in the area.

Agnes is survived by her sister, Geneva, who she had lived with all her life;
brother, George (Marsha) Moon of Nebraska; niece, Nicole (Wade) Landis of Nebraska;
nephews, Daniel (Demi) Moon of South Dakota, Kevin (Sabra) Moon of Nebraska; great
nieces and nephews, Emma, Grace, Noah, Vivian, Cassidy, Nathan, Lilly, Sophie,
Stella and Luke.

Funeral Services will be Friday, June 12, 2 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials
are suggested to Gentiva Hospice in Wyoming, Berlin Center United Methodist Church,
or American Cancer Society.
