She was born in Hubbardston June 30, 1900, the daughter of Peter and Cecilia Nolan and married John Mooney of Hubbardston February 28, 1922, then moved to Ionia in 1927 where she has made her home. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church of Ionia and a member of the St. Mary-Margaret circle of the Altar society and the Parish Senior Citizens. Surviving are four sons: Joseph Mooney of Ionia, Francis of Middleville, Raymond of Chicago, and Robert of Belmont; seven daughters: Mrs. Josephine Heintzleman of Lowell, Mrs. Ted Ann Johnson of Lowell, Sister Bernadette of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Betty Holzgen of Middleville, Mrs. Catherine Ruhl of Mississippi, Mrs. Esther Johnson of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Martha Bacjewski of Sand Lake; 36 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Parish rosary will be recited at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Mass of the Resurrection, with Father Orlowski officiating, will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist cemetery in Hubbardston.
