Daily Standard - Saturday, Nov. 19, 1904

Mrs. Mary Mooney passed away at 5:30 o'clock this morning, at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. William Pettengill. She was aged 66 years, and had lived in 
Ionia about 40 years.  Deceased leaves three children: Mrs. Pettengill of 
Ionia, Miss Sarah Mooney of Grand Rapids and John, now living in Medina, New 
York, all of whom were at the bed side of their good mother in her last 
moments. She was also surrounded by a sister and two brothers, from Grand 
Rapids: Mrs. Catherine O'Toole, and Matthew and Patrick McNamara, and a 
brother-in-law, James Mooney, and family. The funeral will be attended from the 
Church of SS. Peter & Paul, on Monday morning at 9 o'clock.
