R. and Factory Employee. Burial In Greene Cemetery Funeral services were held at the Ellis funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Frank Moore, 56, whose sudden death occurred last Thursday. Mr. Moore had not been in the best of health for years but no immediate alarm had been felt for his condition. He arose at the usual time Thursday morning with the intent of going to work but shortly before breakfast has a poor spell and was assisted to a couch in his home. Before 8 o’clock he had suffered what the doctor termed later, three wave strokes of apoplexy. He was taken to the city hospital where every effort was made to save his life. He passed away at 8:25 p.m. The deceased was one of 11 children in the family of John W. and Elsie R. Moore. He was born April 28, 1883 at Chadwick, where he attended school. Mr. Moore was formerly employed by the P.M. Railroad as car tunker, having worked here and in Greenville. He was also a workman in the refrigerator factory for years. He was married in April, 1905 to Miss Edith Phelps. To this union was born five children, four of whom survive with their mother. They are Raymond of Ionia, Lyle, Carl and Claude of Belding. Carl makes his home with the mother at 115 ˝ W. Main. Brothers and sisters surviving are Arthur Moore and Byron Moore of this city; Ira Moore of Montana; Myron of Oakland, California; Will of Brighton; Clifford of Orleans; Mrs. Charles Williams of this city; Mrs. Willis York of Evart and Mrs. Roland Leland of Ionia; also seven grandchildren. Elder O. P. Ellis, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated and interment was in Greene cemetery. Those from out-of-town to attend were Mr. and Mrs. Willis York, Evart; Mr. and Mrs. Will Moore, Brighton; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Moore, Jackson; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rodgers, Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Roland Leland, Ionia; Carl Garget, Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. James Fenton, Detroit; James Phelps, Lowell; Oliver Martin, Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Munn and mother, Mrs. Susie Dulton, of Fenwick; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Myers and children of Standish; a large group of Greenville friends.
