Ionia Standard, 17 Oct 1895

The funeral of Chas. Moore was very largely attended, Wednesday p.m., from the 
residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schmoltz, parents of the bereaved wife.  The 
sermon was by the Rev. Dr. Thomas, and at the grave the Oddfellows pronounced 
their ritual service.  There was a profusion of fine floral offerings from 
friends of the deceased, who had formed many friendships during his residence in 
Ionia.
