Ionia Sentinel, 2006

James C. Moore, aged 65, of Harrison, formerly of Saranac, passed away suddenly 
Saturday, January 21, 2006 at his home.  He was born April 3, 1941 in Ionia the 
son of Cleo and Ethel (Conner) Moore.  He married Joanne Jeffers April 2, 1966 
in Saranac.  He loved his John Deere Tractor, riding motorcycles and hunting 
and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Joanne of Harrison.  Daughters Rebecca and Stacy 
Newland of Cedar Springs, Mary and Chris Button of Sheridan.  Step daughters 
Brenda and Robert Riggs of Ewell and Barbara Daly of Grand Rapids.  Brothers 
Charles and Evelyn Moore of Lowell, Danny and Barb Moore of North Carolina, 
Gary and Rosie Moore of Hastings, Cleo and Bonnie Moore Jr. of Six Lakes, Terry 
and Sue Moore of Texas, Chris Moore of Greenville; Sisters Thelma and Harold 
Dickerson of New Mexico, Kathleen Thomas of Lowell, Mayliene Bartosh of 
Saranac; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death 
by 1 grandson Christopher Ruid and 1 sister Charlotte.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
