The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 19, 1942

John G. Moore, 95, died Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock at the home of his 
son-in-law, Elmer Finch, of Saranac, where he had made his home since 1933.  
He had formerly resided in Ionia at 436 East Washington street for over 60 
years.

His wife preceded him in death in 1932, and his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Finch, 
preceded him in death in 1938.  Surviving him is a son, William Moore, of 
Ionia and a daughter, Mrs. Iva Saline, of Detroit.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Boynton 
funeral home.  Rev. F. G. Dunbar of the First Methodist church will officiate, 
and burial will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.

Funeral services for John G. Moore, 95, of Saranac, were held Tuesday
