Robert E. Moore, of Lansing, Mich., age 69, passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 
2008.  He was born on March 22, 1938 in Ionia the son of Sprague and Beulah 
(Connor) Moore.  Mr. Moore was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the United 
States Navy and retired from General Motors in Lansing after over 30 years of 
service.  He loved to fish and enjoyed going to the casino and auction sales.  
He was a very outgoing person who had a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Evertt, Norman, Gerald and 
Kenneth and sisters, Lois and Beverly.  Surviving are his wife of 47 years, 
Beulah of Lansing; sisters, Joyce (Dutch) Loveland of Charlotte, Marion (Tom) 
Beech of Greenville and Judy (Bill) Reed of Grand Rapids; brothers, LaVern 
(Ann) Moore of Charlotte and Dennis (Yvonne) Moore of Charlotte; his two 
favorite nieces, Amy (Loveland) Liepins and Debbie Loveland and several nieces 
and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, MI.  Interment will 
take place in the spring at Easton Cemetery in Ionia.  The family will receive 
friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday.  For those desiring, 
memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory 
of Mr. Robert E. Moore.
