July 18, 1968 Mrs. Ethyl V. Moore, 82, of Port Richey, Fla. died Wednesday at the home of her daughter at Campau Lake, near Alto following a long illness. She had been recently released from a hospital in Florida and had been at the home of her daughter for the past week. She was born in Bloomer Center, Montcalm County, April 24, 1886, the daughter of Charles and Cynthia Dunsmore Edlin. When a youngster she moved with her parents to Nebraska and later returned to live in Easton Township. She has been a resident of Florida the past 20 years and was a member of the Presbyterian church there. Surviving are one son, Edlin Sweet of Ionia; one daughter, Mrs. Jay Patterson of Alto; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Edlin of route 3, Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Terry of Tampa, Fla. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at Boynton funeral home with Rev. Lester C. Bailey of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Easton cemetery. Family will be at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 pm. Additional Comments: #1. Mr. Sweet #2.
