E. Schmoltz. Funeral services was held at the residence of Jacob Schmoltz, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The evening paper of Missoula, dated Oct.3, gives the following account of deceased: "After a brave and patient struggle against the most horrible disease that attacks humanity, Chas. L. Moore passed peacefully into the great beyond at a late hour last night. Hoping for the best, believing that he would recover even in the shadow of Death, he fought the advance of disease at every step, but consumption yields not even to an indomitable will, and the victory was won at last. "Chas L. Moore was born in Eureka, Mich., Oct. 9, 1859. He has lived in Missoula for the past four years, and was honored and respected by his friends who were many. His sorrowing wife has the deepest sympathy of every one in the community. The remains will be sent to Ionia, Mich., for interment. Covenant Lodge I.O.O.F. had charge of the funeral which took place from odd Fellows hall at 5 pm. The remains will be sent east this evening, accompanied by Mrs. Moore" File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/m/moore23209nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
