Ionia Sentinel - December 5 1983
Mary Lou Moore, 40, of 3971 Clyde Road, Ionia, died Saturday afternoon at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  She was born May 5, 1943, in Ionia, the daughter of 
LaVern and Edith Jones Eaton.  She was married on December 18, 1959 in Ionia, to 
Kenneth S. Moore.  She attended Ionia high School.  She was a member of the AM 
Vets Auxiliary of Ionia, VFW Auxiliary of Lyons, Portland Conservation Club, 
Freedom Acres Christmas Party Group and of Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, one son, Kenneth Jr.; two daughters, 
Kandy and Kelly; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Eaton of Ionia; one daughter-
in-law-to-be, Tonya Voorheis of Muir; brother and sisters, Keith Eaton, David 
Eaton, Millie Kennedy, Viva Valentine and Joyce Kohagen; her grandmother, Oma 
Wagner of Coldwater one granddaughter, Elisa Moore several aunts, uncles, nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the Roetman Funeral Home 
with the Revs. Marvis Hall and Larry Brewer officiating.  Burial will be at 
Sunset Memorial Gardens.  The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 2 
to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. a memorial has been 
established for the Ionia Hospice in the care of the funeral home.
