Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed.Jan. 9, 1974

ORLEANS- Sprague E. Moore, 73, of 2902 Depot, a resident of Orleans for the 
past 10 years, died at his home Tuesday.

Born January 22, 1900, in Montcalm county, he was  son of Charles and Minnie 
Pulsipher Moore. He married Beulah Conner in Portland on October 29, 1928 and 
lived most of his married life in Ionia where he was employed for some 20 years 
as a custodian of Ionia Theater. The couple raised a family of ten children. 

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Vern and Robert of Lansing, Kenneth of 
Lyons, Dennis of Charlotte and Gerald of Orleans; five daughters, Mrs. Joyce 
Loveland and Mrs. Judy Smith of Charlotte, Mrs. Lois Foss of Belding, Mrs. 
Beverly Satterlee of Ionia and Mrs. Marion Beech of Greenville.

Surviving are also a sister, Mildred Johnson of Whitehall, and a brother, Floyd 
Moore of Denver Colo., 29 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 pm January 11 from Myers - Roetman funeral home in Ionia, 
the Rev. Marvis Hale of Temple Baptist church officiating.

Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home between 7 pm and 9 pm 
Wednesday and Thursday. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
