Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Dec 1942

Funeral services for 11-year-old Everett Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sprague
Moore of Ionia, who was found strangled to death Friday afternoon at the home of
his grandmother, Mrs. Lottie Connor, of 112 West Washington street, will be held
Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Myers funeral home.  Rev. George
Woolcock of the First Baptist church will officiate.

The boy is survived by his parents, five brothers and one sister, and his
paternal and maternal grandmothers.

[Transcriber’s note:  There are notations on the obituary card that he was born
in North Plains May 29, 1931, the son of Sprague and Beulah (Connor) Moore, and
he was buried in Easton Cemetery.
