Portland Observer, 10 May 1882

Mrs. Moore, a well known lady, aged about 60 years, living at the residence of 
her son-in-law, Samuel Carr, of Keene township, committed suicide last Friday 
morning by cutting her throat with a razor, during a fit of temporary insanity.
