Carol J. Moore, 73, of Sheridan, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 at United 
Memorial Health Center Long Term Care, Greenville.  She was born in Ionia 
County on August 24, 1930, the daughter of Marvin and Lillian Deline.

She married William B. “Bill” Moore in Langston on August 7, 1948.  Carol was 
formerly employed at the former GE plant in Edmore, Six Lakes Bank and Hansen’s 
Drug Store in Sheridan.  She enjoyed her family and loved to play bingo, cards 
and the casino. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moore, on October 31, 1997; and 
her sisters, Lois Ferris and Arlene Beach.

Sue is survived by her children, Gary and Yvonne Moore, Alan and Kathy Moore, 
all of Sheridan, Randy Moore of Stanton, Jill and Thad Shumway of Suttons Bay; 
grandchildren, Stephanie and Paul Bromm, Cindy and Rick Ochodnicky, Gabe and 
Stacy Moore, Justin, Josh, Tyler, Cody, Cortney; great-grandchildren, Donnie, 
Michael, Cody, Deagan; sister, Dorothy Mortensen of Greenville; brother, Ron 
and Sue Deline of Langston; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with 
the Rev. Jim Wilcox officiating.  Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan.  
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be given to 
American Cancer Society.
