He had been ailing for ten years. He was born June 14, 1893 in Orleans Township, the son of Freeman and Edith Moore. He was married to Hazel Heaven who died in 1953. Mr. Moore was a former superintendent of Belding Water Works; a member of Silk City Lodge, No. 447 IOOF and Victoria Rebekah Lodge No. 60. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Skillen and Mrs. Clayton (Patricia) Winger, both of Greenville; one son, Delton Moore, this city; four sisters, Mrs. Pricilla McCaul, Rock Ledge, Fla.; Mrs. Bernice Miller, Grand Rapids; Mrs. Naomi Bennett, Glendale, Ariz.; Mrs. Minnie Loft, Elmdale and three brothers, Upton, Grand Rapids; Walter, Lyons, Fremont, Eugene, Ore., and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Gillett and Oddfellow Lodge officiating. Burial was in River Ridge cemetery. Pall bearers were Carl Taylor, Foster Gill, Orlie Hammond, George Farthing, Leroy Wood, and Clarence Cottrell. Organist was Mrs. Carroll Slayton.
