Moore, 58, of Belding, were conducted Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the Charles Courser funeral home at Belding. Rev. Kenneth D. Harger officiated at graveside services at the Otisco cemetery were under the auspices of the Belding Masonic lodge. Mr. Moore died Saturday morning at the United Memorial hospital in Greenville following an extended illness. Born in Belding August 26, 1917, he was a life long resident of that area. He retired from the Belding Post Office in 1971. He was a member of the Belding Masonic lodge, Hugo Fales post of the American Legion of Belding, Michigan Horticulture society and veteran of World War II, serving with the airforce. Besides his wife, Virginia K., he leaves a son, Roger Moore of Fresno, Calif., step-daughter, Mrs. Sharon Coon of Stanton; stepson, Carl Koehnlein of Ionia; father, Alfred J. Moore of Belding, sister, Mrs. Esther Rogers of Orleans, and brother Robert of Cadillac; six grandchildren. A memorial has been established by the American Cancer society. Bearers were Richard, Dan, David, and James Rogers, Robert Blevins and Jon Moore.
