Sandi was a hare worker, so much like her father. She began her journey at Lyons Variety as a soda jerk. She then went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Larry Oyler, then Larry joined the Army and off they went, first to Kentucky then to Germany. Upon returning home, Sandi stayed home and enjoyed married life and bore three children. She was again ready to brave the working world again. She went to school and became a licensed Realtor and worked at Century 21 in Lowell. She then moved to Grand Rapids and worked at the Sixth Street Pub, then on to American Seating and Grill Manufacturing. Becoming bored with factory work, she then went back to school and became a medical assistant. She worked at Kent Community in Grand Rapids and Cumberland Manor in Lowell. She then moved to Ionia and met the second love of her life, Brain Moore, and they married on Nov. 13, 1999, and she was so happy. She then began working for American Bumper and eventually became the union representative and she really loved helping people, she had really found her passion. She worked there until she became disabled. Sandi was also an avid horse lover and won many ribbons with her favorite horse, Shadow, which she raised from a baby. Sandi was a hero, she suffered a medical trauma in February of 2006 and lost all ability to walk, read or write. Sandi came out of rehabilitation on may 2, 2006 walking with help and within six months taught herself to read and write and became able to live independently again. She was such a strong, proud person. Sandi is survived by her daughter, Lorry Lynn Garcia (Jose Rodolfo); son Michael Dean Oyler (Georgiana); grandchildren, Arron, Samantha (Jacob), Ricardo, Alisia, Rodolfo, Maegan, Magenta, Braiden and Brittainie; great grandchildren, Arriana, Analiyah and Xerra; many nieces and nephews; sister, Lori Gustafson (Kenny); brother-in-law Paul Tribble; special long-time friend Joanne Carson; and her very favorite counselor, Diana Sorrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Beverly Clark; her husband Brian Moore; her son James Lee Oyler; and sisters Paula Clark and Cheryl Tribble. A celebration of Sandi's life will be held on March 2, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Ionia Moose Lodge, 869 E. Lincoln Ave. Arrangements are being handled by Lehman Funeral Home. Any donations may be given to the funeral home or at the memorial service per wishes of the family.
