He was born August 13, 1904 in Amble, the son of Fremont Moore and Edith Erickson Moore. He attended Lowell public school and was married August 17, 1921 in Ionia to Reva Mae Bolster and they lived here 40 years. They lived in Lyons the last five years. He was an attendant at Ionia state hospital for 21 years. Besides his wife Reva he leaves five daughters, Mrs Robert Heaven of Wyoming, Mrs Vernon Havens of Muir; Mrs Robert Heintzelman, Mrs Gerald Almy and Mrs Gordon Furman all of Ionia; two sons Maynard of Saranac and Walter of Phoenix, Ore, three sisters, Mrs Bernice Miller of Wyoming, Mrs Priscilla McCaul of Rockledge, Fla, ad Mrs Naomi Bennett of Sun City, Ariz.; two brothers, Fremont Moore of Eugene, Ore., and Upton Moore of Wyoming; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Myers funeral home with Rev. Chester Erickson of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church officiating Interment will be in Greene cemetery.
