Jamie Modene Moore, of Lansing, beloved mother and grandmother, was born March 
19, 1921 in Rutherford, Tenn. and died Dec. 13, 2007, from complications of 
pneumonia, at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by husband, Hubert “Herb” Moore; parents, Levi 
Crockett Patrick and Frances LouElla (Workman) Patrick; brother and sister-in-
law, Buel Don and Louise Patrick; niece, Jane Wren Patrick and son-in-law, 
William L. Charon. Surviving are her daughter, J. Dianne Charon; seven 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Modene lived most of her life in the Lansing area and was currently residing 
in Ionia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21 at Gorsline-Runciman 
Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow in 
Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude 
Children's Research Hospital, Attn: Memorial Honor Program FH, One St. Jude 
Place Bldg., P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552 or American 
Heart Association, Memorial and Tributes -Lockbox, 3816 Paysphere Circle, 
Chicago, IL 60674 in honor of Mrs. Moore.
