Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Dec 1949

George Mooreman, Sr., 75, died Christmas at 8:00 a.m. in Stanton where he had 
been for the past two months.  The six years prior to his residence in Stanton 
he spent in Ionia.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Calkins of Ionia, a son, George, Jr., 
of Ionia and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Gunther funeral home in Carson City 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in a Carson City cemetery.
