Moorman, wife of Francis Moorman, died at her residence, a few miles northwest of town, Saturday afternoon with heart failure after a brief illness of one week. She was 71 years old and one of the pioneers of this section, with her husband settling in Orleans about forth years ago, and afterwards removing to Eureka, where they have lived for 28 years. The funeral services were held at the house Monday, Rev. D.E. Millard, of Portland, officiating, the deceased being a member of the Christian Church. Her four sons, H.M. Moorman, of Grand Rapids; W.J. Moorman, of Muskegon; Dr. E.R. and Enos W. acted as pall bearers and placed her remains in a vault at Greenville. She leaves two daughters, Bertha and one in Tacoma, Washington, where Mr. Moorman is spending the winter and who was unable to be present at death and burial.
