Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Sep 1942

Joseph Moot, 78, who lived for many years in Ionia county, died Saturday morning 
at 9 o’clock at his home in Muskegon after a serious illness of a week.  Funeral 
services will be held at the Lyons Baptist church, Tuesday afternoon, September 
22, at two o’clock.  Burial will be in Lyons cemetery beside his wife.
