Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard – 28 January 1963
Mrs. Winifred K. Moran, 71, died Sunday morning at the home of her son, Bert 
Moran, at 831 Green street Portland.  She had been a Portland resident the past 
43 years.  Born at Six Lakes April 15, 1891 she was married to Sylvester Moran 
who preceded her in death in 1952.  Mrs. Moran was a member of Lansing chapter 
of MAD.



Survivors include two sons, Bert of Portland, and Frank of Phoenix, Ariz.; one 
daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Ribesky of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Claude Plant of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Ada Wasnick of Portland.



Rev. Fr. J. J. Amman will officiate at the Requiem high mass Wednesday morning 
at St. Patrick’s church in Portland and interment will bea t Portland 
cemetery.  Bearers will be Martin Pline, Jr., Stanley Geller, Lyle Shay, Elmer 
Anderson, Jack Spaulding and Sam Fryover.
