She was born on Oct. 31, 1918 in Wacousta, the daughter of Clair D. and Evah (Kramer) Spalding. Mrs. Moran was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and was very active in school functions. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Geller; second husband Bernard Moran; brothers, Robert, Donald, Ralph, Leon, Jack, and Edward. Surviving are her children, Tom (Alice) Geller, Teresa (Joel) Hott, Michael (Joan) Moran, Nancy Ruane and Marge Moran; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Geller; brother, Bernard (Betty) Spalding; brother-in-law, Vincent (Carolyn) Geller; several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Larry King, pastor on July 2, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A private family internment will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
