Adeline Frances Moran, 89, of East Lansing, formerly of Portland, loving mother and
grandmother, passed away on June 30, 2008.  She was born on Oct. 31, 1918 in
Wacousta, the daughter of Clair D. and Evah (Kramer) Spalding.  Mrs. Moran was a
member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and was very active in school functions.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Geller; second husband
Bernard Moran; brothers, Robert, Donald, Ralph, Leon, Jack, and Edward.

Surviving are her children, Tom (Alice) Geller, Teresa (Joel) Hott, Michael (Joan)
Moran, Nancy Ruane and Marge Moran; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
sister, Betty Geller; brother, Bernard (Betty) Spalding; brother-in-law, Vincent
(Carolyn) Geller; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Larry King, pastor on July 2, at St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church.  A private family internment will take place at a later
date.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. 
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Mid
Michigan in memory of Adeline Frances Moran.
