The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 31, 1949

Funeral services for Mrs. Lida More, 88, who died Saturday afternoon at her 
home at 509 High street, were held from Myers funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m.  
Dr. Howard A. Smith, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated.  
Interment was in Highland Park cemetery.

The Order of Eastern Star, which attended in a group, had charge of the 
services at the funeral home.  Her bearers were Clare Butler, Blaine Laden, 
Bert Fox and John Toutenhoofd.  Mrs. Blaine Laden and Mrs. John Toutenhoofd 
had charge of the flowers.

Out-of-town persons attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Poucher 
of Adrian; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Beahan and daughter, Marie, of Grand Rapids; and 
Mr. and Mrs. Park Wilson, Miles Merritt and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Phelps of Long 
Lake.
