The Ionia Standard, Friday, March 8, 1918

The body of Mrs. Mary Morey was brought in Monday from Detroit, and was taken 
directly to Oakhill cemetery, where Rev. C. C. Buckner conducted the committal 
service.  The bearers were Fred Owen, D. J. Campau, Harry Jennings and D. O. 
Cheney.  Mr. and Mrs. George Banton and daughters of Butternut and Mr. and 
Mrs. Era Cheney of Ronald were here to attend the burial service.
