Morgan, of Orleans died Wednesday at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ray Jacobs in Saginaw, where he had been several weeks, hoping to benefit his health. Mr. Morgan was born in Fullersburg, Ill., June 9, 1851, and came to Michigan when a youth. Mrs. Morgan died in 1923. For 20 years he was an employee of the Pere Marquette railroad, and three years ago he took charge of the filling station on M-44 near Haynor. He leaves four children, Glenn Morgan and Mrs. Ray Jacobs, of Saginaw; Mrs. Iva Button, Detroit, and Harry E. Morgan, South Ionia. The body will arrive in Ionia Friday afternoon and will be taken immediately to the home at Haynor. The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock, and burial will be in the Easton cemetery. The Ionia Odd Fellows, of which lodge he was a member, will have charge of the service at the grave.
