The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 19, 2007
Ethan Thomas Morgan, 7 months old, of Hamilton, Illinois, died Monday 
afternoon, May 14, 2007, at Keokuk Area Hospital.  Ethan was born on September 
28, 2006 in Ionia, the son of Brent Morgan and Whitney McCarthy.

He is survived by his parents Brent Morgan of Hedgesville, West Virginia and 
Whitney McCarty of Hamilton, Illinois; one brother, Michael Morgan, of 
Hamilton, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Brent Morgan and his wife Kathleen 
of Hedgesville, West Virginia; maternal grandma, Terri Helm of Hamilton, 
Illinois; maternal grandfather, Lonnie McCarty of Keokuk, Iowa; two paternal 
great grandmothers, Sarah Schendel of Martinsburg, West Virginia and Helen 
Dickey of Palmetto, Florida; three maternal great grandparents, Dennis Clark 
and his wife Sandra of Hamilton, Illinois, Bernice McCarty of Keokuk, Iowa, 
and Evelyn McDowell of Quincy, Illinois; great great grandmother, Betty 
McDowell of Keokuk, Iowa, as well as many aunts and uncles.

Ethan was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Richard Helm and maternal 
great grandfather Terry McDowell and paternal great grandfathers, Theodore 
Schendel, Robert Dickey, and Edward Morgan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 1 p.m. at DeJong's 
Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be in Riverside 
Cemetery north of Hamilton, Illinois.  Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2007 
at DeJong's Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. with family meeting friends at that 
time.  Memorials have been established for the family.
