Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Oct 1982

Mabel V. Morgridge, 87, of Van Buren Road, Route 3, Portland, died Saturday in 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  Born March 23, 1895, in Danby Township, she 
was the daughter of Henry and Clara Glines Van Buren.  She was a member of the 
Danby Cemetery Association.

She is survived by her husband, William; a son, Robert, of Portland, and a 
daughter, Mrs. Max (Clarabelle) Hinds, also of Portland.  Also surviving are 
four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, with 
the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.  Burial will be in Danby Cemetery.  
Pallbearers will be Robert and Daniel Morgridge, Douglas Hinds, Rogers Davids, 
Ronald and Vernon VanBuran.
