On February 14, 1871 he was united in marriage with Catharina Baldinger, to this union six sons and three daughters were born, five of these children preceded their father in death, three dying in infancy and the oldest daughter, Mr. Mary Hetzer died at the age of thirty years in 1903 at her home in Lansing and one son Gottlieb was killed in 1914, age thirty-five years. In 1892 Mr. Morlock with his family emigrated to America settling on what is known as the Crapo farm in Odessa Twp.. The remained on the farm until the fall of 1916 when they moved to Woodbury. Mr. Morlock was baptized when a child, and at fourteen years of age wa confirmed and received into the Lutheran Church and remained a member of that church to his death. There are left to mourn, his companion with whom he had journeyed a little over fifty-six years, three sons, John and Carl of Lansing, William of Woodland and one daughter, Mrs. E. W. Kussmaul of Sebewa, seven grandchildren and five great grand children, with other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the United Brethren church in Woodbury, Wednesday, June 15, at 2 P.M. with Rev. A. J. Hettler of Woodbury in charge. -------- CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy, also Rev.
